About Camden Bedinghaus
I am a lifelong Manatee County resident and candidate for School Board, District 5. Born and raised in Manatee County, I am proud to call this community home and I am committed to ensuring its schools provide students with a strong academic foundation and real opportunities for success.
I am a graduate of the University of South Florida, where I earned a degree in Economics. During my time at USF, I served on the Campus Council, working in student leadership and campus governance alongside students, faculty, and administrators. This experience strengthened my understanding of accountability, collaboration, and responsible decision-making within public institutions.
My Core Beliefs
Faith
My faith in Jesus Christ is the foundation of my life and the driving force behind everything I do. Like the faithful servant Charlie Kirk, I believe that Jesus is my Lord and Savior, and I strive daily to walk in obedience to His Word with humility, courage, and integrity. My relationship with Christ shapes how I treat others, how I make decisions, and how I serve this community. I am an active member of Oasis Community Church, where I continue to grow spiritually, build strong Christian fellowship, and stay grounded in Biblical truth. Previously, I served for three years as a youth coordinator at Bayside Community Church, mentoring and discipling students during some of the most formative years of their lives. That experience strengthened my heart for the next generation and deepened my conviction that families and faith communities play a vital role in shaping strong, confident young leaders.
Family
As one of six children, with younger siblings currently attending elementary, middle, and high school in Manatee County, I have had consistent, firsthand exposure to the realities students and families face at every stage of the education system.
Freedom
I currently serve as Director of the Turning Point USA Manatee County Headquarters, where I coordinate educational programming and engage with students and young adults throughout the county. In 2022, I founded and organized “Fight for the Kids,” a childhood cancer awareness charity boxing event benefiting the American Cancer Society. I have also served as a guest speaker for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), connecting with students through school and community based programs.

So Why Vote For Me?
I come from a generation in despair. I have firsthand experience with our educational system and can clearly identify the cause of this generational malaise. I can be the voice of students on the Manatee County School Board and can recommend policies that will instill hope. With your help, this will become a reality.
